Das Märchen von Rotkäppchen und dem bösen Wolf ist die Welt des Modelabels Little Red Riding Hood. Mit seinem Flagship Store in Berlin Mitte bietet es Raum für Mode, Accessoires, Literatur und Musik in unmittelbarem Kontext Grimmscher Erzählung. Die räumliche Umsetzung des Stores - als dreidimensionales Bühnenbild dieser phantastischen Märchenwelt konzipiert - ist ein Raumkontinuum über zwei Ebenen. Die Verkleidung des Rohbaus aus weißem glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff (GFK) bildet einen Kontrast zum heterogenen Umfeld der lebendigen Friedrichstraße und blendet die Außenwelt für die Märchenwelt im Untergeschoss aus. Der digitale Prozess vom Vorentwurf bis zur Fertigung der sphärisch gekrümmten Oberflächen ist bei diesem Projekt beispielhaft umgesetzt worden.

LRRH Berlin

The fairy tale of 'Little Red Riding Hood' and the evil wolf is the setting for the display of the fashion label LRRH. Its flagship store in central Berlin provides space for fashion, accessories, literature and music within the context of Brother Grimm’s tales. The store was envisioned as a three-dimensional stage for the marvelous fairy tale world – one continuum of space over two sales floors. The digital manufacturing process from the preliminary draft to the fabrication of the fiberglass reinforced curved surfaces has been implemented as an example of the effective use of technology in interior design.
